FC Barcelona Lassa suffered a 73-86 defeat against Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz in a match from the 28th round of the Euroleague.

For Barcelona Petteri Koponen scored 21 points, but this great performance didn’t help the Catalans very much in the game.

In the same time the leader in the standings CSKA Moscow enjoyed a 90-73 win over Khimki Moscow Region in an all Russian game from the 28th round of the Euroleague.

The city derby once again showed everyone that CSKA Moscow are the best team in the competition during the regular season. CSKA are already 23-5, which is an amazing record for any team. For Khimki this loss is not fatal as well, because Khimki already qualified for the playoffs. Right now their record in the Euroleague is 16-12.

Nando De Colo was above everyone else in CSKA’s squad, finishing the game with 17 points. Othello Hunter added 16 more, while Leo Westermann contributed with 14 points.

For Khimki Alexey Shved scored 20 points, but his great performance was not rewarded with a win for his team.
