England – Denmark
We are getting ready for another huge game at the Wembley because England are hosting Denmark. This is a match from the Nations League and we believe it’s going to be a great one. Let’s discuss it.
Few days ago England beat Belgium at the Wembley and overtook the Red Devils at the top of the group. It was a great win for the English team against one of the strongest sides in the world. Now England are one point ahead of Belgium and against Denmark they will try to keep the first place.
The Three Lions can be really proud with their performance against a very strong Belgian side. The visitors actually opened the score with a goal from a penalty kick, but Gareth Southgate’s team managed to turn the game around. Marcus Rashford equalised while Mason Mount secured the win for the hosts.
Most likely Southgate will be doing some changes for the next game. Harry Kane and Jadon Sancho started from the bench against the Red Devils, so maybe they will start against Denmark on Wednesday.
Few days ago Denmark recorded their first win in the Nations League for this season. The Red Dynamite traveled to Iceland and secured a convincing 3-0 win against the Vikings. Sigurjonsson, Eriksen and Skov scored for the team managed by Kasper Hjulmand. It was an easy win against a strong opponent. It was an impressive one.
England and Denmark already faced each other once in this group. In September these two teams met at the Parken, but the match ended without any goals scored – 0-0.
This is our preview for the Nations League fixture between England and Denmark on Wednesday. For England it’d be crucial to win this game because they’d like to keep the first place in the group. But what are Denmark’s intentions?
