Rosenborg are the reigning champions and current leaders in the Eliteserien. They are leading the table with 5 points advantage in front of Brann. They remain the strongest favourites to win the league once again, unless some other team don’t find a way to stop them.

Their goal difference is 20 goals scored and 23 goals conceded.

Rosenborg are the clear favourites to win this game and at least keep their 5 points advantage in front of Brann. Brann are also a strong team and a worthy contender, but they are not doing well at the moment, not having won neither one of their last three matches. They really should improve their form, if they want to keep up with Rosenborg.

As for Sognal, their main goal this season remains survival. They are just three points above the relegation play-off zone, so they really need to step it up, if they want to remain in the Eliteserien. But can they start against the leader?
