Hellas Verona – Milan
Hellas Verona welcomes Milan in a match from the third round of the Serie A. The newcomers from Verona started the new season really well, while Milan enjoyed their first win in the previous round.
Hellas Verona are among the newcomers in the Calcio this season, but so far they are doing pretty well in the league. After two matches played in the Serie A, they have four points won and they are currently 7th in the league standings.
After the draw against Bologna in the first round, the Gialloblu visited Lecce and achieved a first win for the campaign. Ivan Juric’ boys won the game with 1-0, thanks to a winning goal from Matteo Pessina just nine minutes before the end. He used an assist from Mattia Zaccagni and put the ball behind Gabriel’s back.
Hellas Verona’s main goal this season is going to be survival, so if they can keep this level of performance, this would be really good for them.
Milan on the other hand kicked off their season in a dissapointing way, losing against Udinese at the Dacia Arena in the first round. The Rossoneri bounced back in the next round when they enjoyed their first win under the management of Marco Giampaolo. Milan hosted Brescia at the San Siro and won the game with 1-0, thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu’s winner after just 12 minutes of playing.
Despite of enjoying their first win away from home, it’s clear that Hellas Verona will rely heavily on their matches at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi. Every point they win at their own ground could be really important in the fight against relegation. It won’t be easy for Milan on Sunday.
We think that there ain’t no clear favourite in the match between Hellas Verona and Milan on Sunday. Both teams have chances to win this one, while the draw is also a possibility.
