Milan – Roma
Milan hosts Roma in the most interesting game of the 35th round of the Italian Serie A. The game is going to be played at the Stadio San Siro in Milan.
Both teams are in the need to win as they continue to pursuit their goals in the league. Milan still have some chance to beat Atalanta for the 5th place in the standings and qualify for the Europa League, but they must be flawless until the end of the season to do so.
As for Roma, Luciano Spalletti’s team will return to the second spot in the league once again, if they win against Milan. Right now Roma are on two points behind Napoli. The second spot is important, because it guarantees a direct qualification for the Champions League.
Milan’s managers Enzo Montella will be without the services of the suspended Juraj Kucka, while Luca Antonelli is still injured. The good news are that Alessio Romagnoli, Ignazio Abate and Giacomo Bonaventura are recoved and once again ready to play.
The away team can’t rely on the injured Alessandro Florenzi until the end of the season, while Kevin Strootman and Antonio Rudiger are suspended for this game. Emanuele Spinozzi is doubtful for the visit to San Siro because of a knee injury.
We could hardly say that Milan are in a good form right now. The Rossoneri won just one of their last five games – against Palermo. In the last three matches Milan won just two points, which once again proved that the Rossoneri are not in a good condition right now.
As for Roma, they suffered a defeat in their last game, losing the big Roman derby against Lazio. This allowed Napoli to take the second place, but now Roma can return to it if they manage to beat Milan at the San Siro.
