Milan – Spezia
Milan hosts Spezia at the San Siro in a match from the third round of the Italian Serie A. Both teams won their previous games in the league, so this should be an interesting one. Let’s preview it.
Milan continue to perform in a brilliant way under the management of Stefano Pioli. The Rossoneri started their Serie A season with two wins against Bologna and Crotone. In these two matches Milan kept two clean sheets as well which is a great thing. For Milan the goal this season could be only one – return to the Champions League.
In their last match in the league Milan visited another newcomer Crotone and went home with a 2-0 win. Frank Kessie scored a penalty kick in the last minutes of the first half while the loanee Brahim Diaz doubled the score in the 50th minute. It was Diaz’ first goal for the club since he arrived from Real Madrid.
During the week Milan had a difficult game in Europa League, though. They played extra-time against Rio Ave, but won on penalties and qualified for the competition’s group stage.
Spezia are among the newcomers in the Serie A and they already celebrated their first win in the league. Vincenzo Italiano’s team faced Udinese at the Dacia Arena and enjoyed a 2-0 win. The Bulgarian striker Andrey Galabinov scored both goals for the visitors. Spezia finished the game with a red card, though. The centre-back Claudio Terzi got sent off in the 65th minute, so he won’t be avaliable to play against Milan.
That’s our preview for the Serie A match between Milan and Spezia at the San Siro. Could this be three in a row for Milan? They look like a serious team at the moment, but they must be careful with Spezia – the newcomers won their previous game.
