On Wednesday Schalke 04 suffered their third consecutive defeat since the league got started again. The Royal Blues paid a visit to Fortuna Dusseldorf and suffered a 1-2 loss. Werder have some problems before this visit to Gelsenkirchen. Milos Veljkovic is suspended, while Pizarro, Fullkrug, Mohwald and Toprak are injured.
Meanwhile Schalke 04’s manager David Wagner can’t use the injured Suat Serdar and Amine Harit who are missing the home game on Saturday.
