Meanwhile Marach and Pavic were also unstoppable against Marcin Matkowski and Max Mirnyi, winning the match in three sets – 7-5 6-2 6-2.

What happened in the Round of 16? Kubot/Melo had to face Florin Mergea and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi. This appeared to be another dramatic five setter, but Kubot/Melo celebrated at the end – 6-7 4-6 6-1 6-4 6-2.

In the same round Marach/Pavic tested their abilities against Jay Clarke and Marcus Willis. The test was successful, because they needed just three sets go continue their march in the competition – 6-3 6-4 7-6.

And let’s see what happened in the fourth round of the Wimbledon. Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo faced Philipp Petzschner and Alexander Peya. Just like in other cases since the start of the tournament, they once again had to play five sets of tennis to win the match. But in the end they did it – 6-2 5-7 6-3 3-6 11-9.

In the same day Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic had to deal with Ilija Bozoljac and Flavio Cipolla and they didn’t make a mistake, winning the match with 6-7 6-4 6-2 6-3.
